From downsizers to families and investors, Harriott’s premium design and idyllic location appeals to a range of buyers. Meet the future residents of Harriott, Armstrong Creek who are set to commence construction on their dream homes in the coming months.
Genene – Downsizer
For Downsizer, Genene, Harriott at Armstrong Creek was purchased based on the “perfect location, warm feeling and how close it is to everything”. Genene explains, “I like to go to the beach; and from Harriott, it’s just a few minutes’ drives”. Her family also lives in Torquay, making it easier to visit them frequently. Genene grows up nearby in Torquay, which “isn’t too close to the shops like Harriott but is just over the road.”
Genene first heard about Harriott through social media, “something came up on my phone for Harriott, Armstrong Creek. When I clicked through, I thought that’s not a bad position and went to see what it was all about.” Genene is a very excited resident that frequently visits Harriott to seethe progress being made. She highlights that purchasing the lot to settlement has been simple and easy. “Once I found my preferred block, Joyce helped me to find a builder to design my home.
II live by myself, I don’t need a big house or yard – together we have designed something with just enough space for me.”
“I did receive updates about the progress of the pathways and parks, as well as upcoming releases it’s interesting to see what is happening. I visit here probably once or twice a week because it is not too far.”
Curtis – Upgrader
When Curtis began looking for his next family home, he was particularly drawn to Harriott’s superior location and urban design. Curtis explains “Harriott’s central parklands will be easy to access from our home, the community is also close to everything.”
Curtis who will be living with his partner, 2-year-old daughter, and newborn due in May adds that Harriott will suit his family because “It’s close to the supermarket, chemist, servo, and everything we need, it’s also 5 minutes from Barwon Heads which is perfect for us.”
Having lived and worked in the local area for the past few years, Curtis was driving along Barwon Heads Road when he first discovered Harriott. He was looking for a straightforward process and was easily persuaded to purchase with Joyce, the Harriott Estate Manager because he had previously purchased land with her.
“Joyce sold me my first house in Watermark a few years back. Because I had been through the process before, it was easy to buy my second home with her.” He adds, “I got plenty of emails from Jinding for new lot releases and updates. The process was easy; we just walked in, put down a deposit, and it was done.”
Although Curtis and his family can’t wait to call Harriott home, they are hoping to one day buy an even bigger block within the community.
