It was an honour to celebrate our Harriott at Armstrong Creek community in Victoria, as a finalist for Excellence in Design Innovation at the 2022 The Urban Developer Awards for Industry Excellence gala last week. 

Out of 125 finalists across 20 categories, we’re proud to say Harriott was the only land development featured. 

The Jinding team worked closely with stakeholders and consultants over many years to deliver an innovative, enhanced outcome for Harriott, after acquiring the site in 2018 with a development approval already in place. 

Our improved design included the removal of high voltage overhead transmission lines to increase access, useable green open space and effective lot design, and the introduction of low-impact, acreage lifestyle lots at the communities northern boundary. These outcomes will pay long-term dividends for all stakeholders including the developers, the local council, the environment, and many generations of future residents.  

Buyers have embraced Harriott, with more than $121 million in sales to date, and to be among the developments recognised for innovation is just further reward for the foresight and planning of this exciting new community.
