Harriott townhome purchaser Riley Redford, 26, of Windana Heights, demonstrates the flexibility and appeal of townhomes. Riley purchased a four-bedroom townhome in January and is converting one of the bedrooms into his dream walk-in-robe.

“I currently have three wardrobes and I really need to consolidate. I figured I’d have to build my own house to get what I want, so the Harriott townhomes were an easy decision,” he said.

“I’ll be building a custom walk-in-robe when I move in, with an island bench in the middle and a bench seat under the window. It’s going to be incredible. I also have visions to create a laundry chute out of my pantry to make life even easier.”

A suit aficionado, Riley collects suit jackets and likes to debut a new look at the many events he attends as Chief Financial Officer for a technology company.

“I’m an impulsive person—I’d been looking for a month, then I saw the townhouses at Harriott and just went for it,” he said.

“I like that Harriott is not far from Barwon Heads and the water—I’m such a beach person—I love on a freezing cold day you jump in and it’s so refreshing.”

A property investor, Riley’s purchase at Harriott is the first time he’s bought a home for himself to live in.

“I’ll be bringing my Golden Labrador, she has lots of toys and will have her own lounge in the office downstairs, as she likes to lay around while I work from home.

“Buying at Harriott was a really easy process, quick, painless, and I look forward to moving in. My home doesn’t title for a while, so it also gives me time to get ready for the mortgage.”
