As we continue to enhance our community, several key infrastructure projects are progressing to improve accessibility and recreational spaces for residents at Harriott, Armstrong Creek.
Harkness Boulevard Intersection
Construction will ramp up on the signalised intersection connecting, Harkness Boulevard and Barwon Heads Road. The works will be completed by Geelong-based contractor, Wellam and Major Road Projects Victoria.
While works take place, there will be signage and traffic controls in place to help you find your way. Our Sales Office opening hours will remain unchanged during this period.
These intersection works are anticipated for completion in July – September 2025.
Hilltop Park Underway
Landscaping also continues on Harriott’s newest play space, Hilltop Park, with earthworks and drainage nearing completion with pavements and feature boulder installation occuring through out April; providing paths to meander and future seating nodes to relax and clamber.
Locally based play collaborator, Fleetwood Urban, has begun finalising the play equipment design with Landscape Architects, Spiire. Play equipment fabrication and installation will take place alongside onside construction works, with completion anticipated in Winter 2025.
Hilltop Park is set to feature a multi-sports zone featuring a half-basketball court and netball hoops, a shelter with picnic tables, swings, climbing structures and a sand play area for toddlers. View photos of the progress below.
Big Builds Barwon Heads Road Upgrade

With Stage 01 complete in the Victoria’s Big Build Barwon Heads Road Upgrade, planning is now underway on Stage 02; where works will stretch 4kms across Reserve Road, Charlemont and Lake Road in Armstrong Creek. These works will help improve traffic flow, improve access to Public transport and make it easier and safer to walk and cycle in the local area.
