With many more residents beginning to call Harriott home, it’s been an exciting and busy time for our project team in Armstrong Creek.
Settlements completed late last year, saw Harriott become a hive of activity with many residents completing their build and moving into this wonderful community. With construction completed on stages 5 to 8B and 11, during the year – there are another 205 residents with building underway or plans to commence in the New Year.
As the community has grown, our Neighbourhood Shapers group have worked closely with Judi from the Property Republic on several fun and creative initiatives. There are forums for new businesses to promote themselves, a community library brimming with books, a lawn and order award that’s resident judged, and we even hosted an incredibly fun Christmas event for residents at every stage of the home building process to meet.
The efforts made by Neighbourhood Shapers, have addressed queries by residents and helped Harriott create a tight-knit community that residents can be proud to call home.
On the landscaping front, an application was lodged to council for Hilltop Park, incorporating valuable feedback from our community. Connecting to Central Park, this new amenity will ensure every home at Harriott is within 200m of green space. Pending planning approval from council, construction of the park is anticipated to begin in mid-2024 and be completed within the calendar year.
