Recently our current, and future, residents at Harriott shared insights about their experience so far, what they are looking forward to at Harriott and what they would like to see in the future Hilltop Park.

These insights were collected through a series of surveys and workshops held by the Property Republic. With the first residents moving into the community, this research was a wonderful way to support residents taking this next step.

Here’s what we learnt…

Over 58% of households at Harriott don’t have kids.

Given its idyllic location it’s no surprise that Harriott is popular with many couples and singles choosing the lifestyle on offer at Armstrong Creek.

89% of purchasers who completed the survey are satisfied or highly satisfied with their purchase at Harriott.

Residents want to feel safe while living at Harriott

The survey results informed us that residents at Harriott predominately wish for four things:

• To feel safe
• To walk, run and cycle safely
• To feel proud to have friends over
• To live where there is a strong sense of community

During the workshops, a deep dive into these statements suggested that residents wanted to live where there is a strong sense of community, where they know their neighbours and residents respect each other and the neighbourhood. Throughout the year Jinding provide opportunities to help residents connect, a residents group has also been established to help support residents in this next step.

Creativity abounds at Hilltop Park

With design and planning underway for Harriott’s future Hilltop Park it was the perfect time to hear what our residents would like to see. The insights from the surveys and workshops provided valuable insight into what’s important to residents, including amenities through to providing a space for children of all ages. We will work with council and advocate for theses priorities to be included for Harriott’s future residents.

As part of the neighbourhood shapers initiative, several residents have also put their hands up to form a resident’s group at Harriott with some exciting ideas for the future community. If you would like to get involved or learn more, please contact customerrelations@jinding.com.au.
